Hey, I'm Isabela!
I'm currently in the role of Senior Product Designer, focusing on creating a Seamless Consumer Experience for TRADER's Autosync. I thrive on problem-solving, conducting research, and ensuring alignment with our vision. As the head of my department, I collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, stakeholders, and consumers.
I'm keen on broadening my expertise in experience design, exploring avenues such as MR, VR, and other emerging mediums.
HOW IT STARTED
When I was 16, I bought my first Mac Desktop. During the hot summer days, I would spend hours indoors on Tumblr, watching tutorials on blog customization and basic HTML+CSS coding. The ability to customize my own space felt liberating.
As a teenager, my preferences changed quickly, and so did my blog. The layouts reflected different stages of my teenage years, which still evoke emotions today. At the time, I viewed content layout and button placement as something fun, a way to show people what I wanted them to see when they stumbled upon my page. Little did I know, this ignited my passion for storytelling through products. Now, nine years later, here I am.
I am a Product Designer and UX Researcher, seeking a highly collaborative environment to design meaningful experiences. I use design to bring clarity to complex problems and prioritize people when creating solutions.
My UX skill set and background in Graphic Design have helped me become an end-to-end designer, capable of executing every part of the design process from research and ideation to design and implementation. With strong research skills, I can deeply explore a problem and discover valuable design opportunities. Typography and layout are my strengths, which I rely on to craft the look and feel of any product.
I'm a self-professed food enthusiast, often sought after for restaurant recommendations. Currently, I'm delving into a side project that involves predicting fashion trends using data analytics. Outside of work, you can find me enjoying quality time with friends and doting on my two beloved cats, Bean and Lulu.
